I am delighted to work together with Rabbi Danny Moore, Kosher Certification Director at Badatz Igud Rabbonim (BIR). He provides our company, "PT. Umbu Akses Global" with professional, friendly, and detailed support and guidance to meet the super Kosher standards. Being Kosher Certified by BIR as one of the best Kosher agency in the world has added the value of our company. I would always recommend BIR to anyone in need of Kosher Certification. Thank you very much, Rabbi Danny Moore! You are the Best!
Rabbi Danny Moore has been one of the most high influencing Rabbis i had the chance to work with. Contacted him 3 years ago, and although i had a prior experience with a couple more high Kashrus, Rabbi Moore helped me and my company step by step to accomplish our goals, producing candies under the highest Kosher standards. His encouraging and motivating guidance, helped us bring even more clients and establish a long term cooperation with all of them. Kosher productions have helped our factory evolve, be more efficient, even more clean, and way more productive.
Was 27 years Senior Dayan at the Manchester Beth Din before he founded the BIR Badatz Igud Rabbonim with the blessing of his mechutan Rav Shmuel Halevi Wosner Ztl. During his life he was regarded as one of the greatest European Rabbinical figures and was a world renowned Kashrus expert and Rav Hamachshir.
Rav Westheim Ztl left MBD in order to setup a Mehadrin hechsher that would be able to give the highest standards for the Bnai Torah.
He was extremely well respected throughout the Food Industry and Kashrus world. His mastering of the Laws of Kashrus enabled him after thoroughly analysing the technical data, to propose the best solution in compliance with the requirements of a flawless standard of Kashrut. He was well-known on the American & European continents as well as of-course in Eretz Yisroel especially in the sweets and candy industry as well as Kosher certification of raw materials. The industrial products carrying his Kosher logo actually profit from his international reputation even within the most demanding orthodox communities.
To give some examples of this competence, Rav Westheim as a director of the Kashrus of the Manchester Beth Din, after long years of work and research, achieved kosher accreditation for a number of products of the Kellogg’s company. Other multinationals like Proctor & Gamble, Cargill, Bacardi, Arcor, Camille Bloch, Strauss Elite and Haribo among many others have come to rely on his expertise and professional skill.
He was known as a tail blazer in the Kashrus world with being the first for many things that other kashrus agencies then sometimes years later followed his lead.
He was the first to produce Gluten Free Oat Matzos for people who are Celiac.
He was the first to produce Kosher Fish Gelatine
He was the first to introduce Bedikas Tzumas Hagidin in Europe.
He was the first to insist on a dedicated Bodek Sakinim in every shechita.
He was the first to get the Brocho printed on food packaging.
Rabbi Shulem Landau is the son in law of Rav Westheim Ztl and the Rav Hamachshir of the Badatz Igud Rabbonim. He is a Talmudical scholar and expert in the Rabbinical legislation. He writes extensively on Jewish Law and answers the questions of the general public. He is very knowledgeable in the field of the shechita – ritual slaughter and in Kosher productions. He sees his role to continue the kashrus legacy of Rabbi Westheim Ztl and continuing our high Badatz standards of Super Kosher for which we are famous for.
To coordinate these activities and competences within one Kashrus or Kashrut organization is Rabbi Danny Moore – the Kashrus Director. His great expertise is problem solving with regards to raw materials and technology as well as understanding the clients needs. His work in the Kosher industry and with Kosher industrial productions are supported by more than twenty five years of experience & practice in the field and working as well as for other Kashrus organisations. He previously worked for the KLBD London Beth Din as Certification Director and prior to that at Kedassia. He is also a Kashrus consultant for other Kosher organisations and is highly skilled in successfully implementing a high standard of Kosher certification and giving an excellent and fast service. He is intimately involved in all aspects of the certification process. Proceeding very professionally, he is offering BIR Customers a partnership which will enable the manufacturer to achieve the greatest value added for a product carrying the BIR label and ensures that the product meet the strictest requirements of the orthodox communities.
He had the zechus of working closely with Rav Westheim Ztl for many years and learnt a lot from working underneath him. He sees as part of his role is to continue the legacy of Rav Westheim Ztl to insure all the chumros and dikdukai halochos of Rav Westheim continue to be meticulously carried out.
